Washington State wineries distinguish themselves by their pre-phylloxeral vines: contrary to most wine producing regions where vines must be grafted to protect them from ravage, Washington State’s vines naturally prevent aphids from hindering their development and thus require no grafting.
This beautiful violet-streaked ruby red has an intense and persistant nose characterized by seductive hints of cinnamon, pepper and berries. In the mouth, the tannins are smooth and the finish is long and complex.
